 Unikue

Seldom does one word fit an individual

Unikue (pronounced Unique) was born in the inception of music television videos and 80's musical expressions.  His mother, having prophetic insight, named him Unikue because of gut instincts. He is the youngest of three and always had artistic inclinations, though early on he drew, before the realization of becoming a singer. “I always liked to draw, but singing came to me later in my life, says Unikue”. At the tender age of 15, he struck out on faith and entered talent contests. It proved to be an epiphany for young Unikue. From that  moment on, singing became his life. “I am nothing without music, there is nothing else I want to do,” stated Unikue.  Born in the historic section of Germantown, but reared in West Philadelphia, his musical styling is influenced by Dru Hill, Jodeci and Jagged Edge. This powerhouse vocalist loves to sing, write and dance. “I want to give my fans a body of work that leaves them thinking, inspired” says Unikue.

What makes the man and his music? He studied martial arts for several years, and thrives on concentration and meditation. “I thank God daily for my talent”stated the singer. He is determined and focused to take his music to a level that most artists haven't dreamed of. “I just wanna touch my fans”says the singer. Though the young singer has been in groups in the past, Fate stepped in and brought him to Darimar as a solo artist.
